1:1 Private Tutoring Offered at a variety of times and locations to best meet you and your student’s needs. If you are interested in getting the process started, simply contact us and we will send you the enrollment packet. From there, you will be contacted by our partner Academic All Star Services to begin the scheduling process. Tutoring Philosophy We’ll connect with you about your student’s academic needs, personality, learning style and interests before matching him/her up with a tutor. Every effort is made to provide a tutor that will work well with your scholar to establish an effective one-on-one relationship. If you’re unhappy with your tutor, contact us and we will discuss whether changing the tutor is a viable option. Tutoring Expectations We do not “guarantee” grades. We will, however, guarantee your tutor will do their best to teach the subject matter in a way that is most effective and your student can understand. Tutoring is a twoway street. Your child should be open to improving and willing to ask the questions they may be too shy or embarrassed to ask in class. That is why one-on-one tutoring is so effective. No question is too dumb to ask; it’s okay to say “I still don’t understand that” and we know that not everyone is going to grasp material the first time around. Patience is key - tutoring is a partnership. Partnership ISD 279 Osseo Area Schools Community Education partners with Academic All Star Services to provide fee-based tutoring and support to District 279 students in grades K-12. We partner to provide qualified and licensed tutors for all families in a timely manner in order to make a difference.
