Yesterday was such a blessing 💕While working in the HOPE Mobile I was able to spend quite some time on FaceTime with one of my MOVS Mommas that lives in Michigan. It was so nice to meet her “face to face”. To be able to have the trust of my mommas to hear their stories is an honor.After my meeting I was able to sit with another very special woman and her boyfriend.You see, while I work with the families of Veteran Suicide, I meet many other loved ones that lost their heart to suicide.Last year I met a mother who lost her 19-year-old son. He died on their Reservation. When she shared her story, I loved on her and tried to give her as much comfort as I could. I do not know much about life on a Reservation and I wanted to know more. I do not have experience with teen suicide. I wanted to know more and I wanted to know if I could help there.Yesterday I had this mom come to the Hope Mobile and talk with me. She actually brought me handmade items with my Mothers Of Veteran Suicide logo. She had earrings and an Indian medallion, which I’m so honored to have received.We talked about her beloved son Jeffrey Smoke III and she brought photos to share with me.Friends if you know anyone that has lost a child, please do all you can to let them know you care. Please let them tell you their feelings and hear their story. They may want to talk for the first year or for a lifetime. Please just sit and listen. Let them know you love them and let them know you care.

Tonight we pray for all the mommas whose kids are in the military. Lord, many are headed off to boot camp or are already there. Some are at their posting and some may be preparing to move. As of right now Tim French has 40 confirmed states involved in his walk on August 10th. We need a lot more to make 22 states. Help us bring Awareness to Veteran Suicide across the United States. Here are the details.....You walk 2.2 miles or more and you carry an American Flag, You carry a photo of Marine/Army Veteran Dustin Lee Parker. (I will provide you with a laminated photo , no charge) On August 10th, what ever time is good for you , you do your walk and take some photo's while your out walking with the flag and photo included. You can also carry as many photo's as you like. If you want to honor another Fallen Hero at the same time you can do so. Once you have completed your walk, just message me the photo's and a little story about your walk. I will include it in a video . I have included some links below. I have worked with Veterans for the past 20 years and doing so I met Michele and Randy on my travels. Meet our Board Members, our family:As a granddaughter of an Army soldier, I believe that our Veterans are of the utmost importance. The respect and love that I have for our troops is unconditional. I felt such a pull to help our country's veterans, I joined The American Legion Auxiliary in 2018. I have been involved for 6 years in many positions of the Auxiliary and am currently the President of Unit 69, Avon Park, Fl. I joined Michele with Mothers of Veteran Suicide in 2022 and have been asked to be the Public Relations and Marketing Director in 2024. As part of this position, my goals are to help our mommas feel hope, love and comfort and to promote awareness within the many communities struggling with Veteran Suicide. We are trying so hard to stay on top of ordering the butterflies with the Mothers of Veteran Suicides hero child’s name for the RV.We just installed 11 more names. 😢😢 We started at the very beginning of the RV this time.I really wish we didn’t have to add any more names 😢 God bless the families left behind 🙏💕
