Many people don't know this, but you can choose a 52 page book (versus a 28 page book) for no additional charge. That's much cheaper than having to request additional pages when you run out!

Tickets purchased online cost between $10 and $25 for adults (the first few weeks of the fair are the cheapest; the final week is $25 every day). Kids and senior tickets purcahsed online cost $10 to $12. General admission parking is $20 in advance and $25 at the gate; preferred parking info isn't available quite yet.

According to the State Department, “the increased fee is necessary to ensure we continue to produce one of the most secure travel and identity documents in the world.” Travelers also have the option to pay $60 to expedite delivery and receive the passport in five to seven weeks or $17.56 for one-to-two day delivery.

The biggest difference between a passport book and passport card is the methods of travel that are eligible. While passport books can be used for all entry methods into an international country — whether air, land or sea — passport cards are limited to travel through land and sea borders only.

Can I bring my water bottle or some beverages? Yes, sealed plastic water bottles are fine, but no glass, aluminum cans, Hydro Flasks, Metal Water Bottles, or outside alcohol are allowed.

The L.A. County Fair accepts: Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. There is no charge for using a credit card.
