What is the best farming spot in bloodborne? ›

A good late game farming spot for echos and blood vial is the Mergo's Loft: Middle lantern. Equip all the Moon Runes you have and head upstairs to the 2 Shadows of Yharnam. Each one gives around 3k echos with a chance of 2-4 blood vials. It's easy to kill them one by one (just use pebbles to pull them).

The Nourishing Abyssal Blood Gem is easily the best Waning Gem around, increasing overall damage by a whopping 21.5%. There's a randomized secondary effect that makes this Blood Gem even more effective to use, with the curse effect barely taking away from the utility of this Blood Gem.

Availability. Though there are some Blood Gems laying in the land of Yharnam and some enemies can even drop them, they are almost exclusive drops to enemies, bosses, and chests found in Chalice Dungeons.

Imprints decide which shape of Blood Gems the weapon can be infused with, but Droplet shaped Blood Gems will fit into any slot. Imprints are unlocked by fortifying the weapon. Fortify to +1 unlocks the 1st slot, +3 the 2nd slot, and +6 the 3rd slot.

1 Whirligig Saw

The Whirligig Saw is considered by many to be the best weapon in Bloodborne, and it's easy to see why.

The Labyrinth Mole is a rare enemy in Chalice Dungeons that resembles a star-nosed mole.

You'll probably get a good amount while farming FRC bosses for gems. There are also gargoyles who have a somewhat decent drop rate plus you can farm cursed nourishings off them as well. If chalices aren't your thing, then your next best bet in the standard game are Upper Cathedral Ward wolves iirc.

Due to the Serrated damage of the Saw Cleaver, gemming a Fire Blood Gem into it can prove effective, as it will increase damage against Beasts, however a Fire Saw Spear does a better job at this, so the best for it is bolt.

-> Once you enter the Ailing Loran Chalice dungeon all you have to do is defeat the first layer boss, Beast-Possessed Soul, and he will drop a Fire Damp Blood Gem (5) rating 15 which is apparently considered to be a "extremely precious blood gem", thus granting you the Blood Gem Master Trophy.

Abyssal Blood Gems are the highest rated of all, with a rating of 20. These have an extremely dark hue to mark how rare they are. Your weapons will only get so powerful by leveling up alone, Blood Gems are needed to take them to the stars.

Using either epoxy or UV resin to encapsulate keepsakes can keep them protected from water but unlike glass, which is often used for cremation ashes, doesn't destroy the blood “inclusion” in the process. Blood inclusion jewellery has grown in popularity since then and I get regular orders for it.

One in main game, one in dlc. You can buy them from the insight vendor in the dream for 60 insight, after defeating mwn. Also, there is one per depth 5 Loran, illyhl and isz respectively.

You can use them freely since you can remove them and reuse them to your heart's content. They just add additional perks to your weapon, mostly in the form of raising its attack power. Melee weapons have 3 gem slots. Normal weapons will have 2 radial slots, and then either a waning, or triangle slot.

The most effective farming method is likely believed to be by spawning in Yahar'gul Chapel and slaying the various malformed Scourge Beasts found in the area. Another legitimate and likely less stressful way is by farming the various Lost Children of Antiquity found in Forsaken Cainhurst Castle.
